Australian College of Natural Medicine survived a previous AfD, and can therefore not be deleted except via another AfD. Be aware that the previous AfD was closed as a "Bad faith nomination" on May 2, 2008.. [1]. As reviewing administrator, I think that nominating this again soon after such a close would be a very poor idea--try rather to improve the article. DGG (talk) 23:41, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks DGG. I have no idea how this can be improved. Perhaps what we REALLY need to do is have a page on wikipedia for 'Natural Medicine Colleges in Australia', with all of the colleges on it. There are about 20 colleges that I can think of. I have seen a lot of warring going on over this article, even an admin has been acting a bit poorly and seemingly with some bias, so maybe the right thing to do is to have the page about ALL of the colleges, in alphabetical order, with a bit of info on each. If you don't delete this article, then other colleges are going to be disadvantaged by this article's existence, and really, both you and I know that this article is all about increasing the exposure of this particular college. They sell courses, and this wiki helps them to do that without actually providing anything of significant cultural interest. If wikipedia is to be a 'serious' encyclopedia, then one must also look to other encyclopedias to determine the fundamental test 'would another encyclopedia have an article on this business?', or 'what is this business' claim to fame' - The 'claim to fame' test is a good one. Maybe it should be implemented. Editorcomm (talk) 23:56, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
