Vandalism

[edit]

Dear Eddiebow,

You have contributed nothing useful to wikipedia. Everything you have done is vandalism. I would successfully have you permanently blocked for vandalism had I (or anyone else) warned you sufficiently on your user page. You get three warnings. Clearly, this has not happened.

Hence, this is warning number one for this edit. Your edit is vandalism because Stephen Taylor is a link to a disambiguation page, not a link to a former Special Air Service person, and Colin Maclachlan is a red link and hence not a link to anyone. You are welcome to add links to List of former Special Air Service personnel IF (and only if) the links are to people with pages on wikipedia (i.e. pages with blue links) who actually were former Special Air Service personnel.

I acknowledge that nobody, myself included, has bothered to explain this to you. My apologies. If there is any part of the above you don't understand, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

However, rest assured, if you continue to make these edits with associated smart-arsed edit comments, you WILL be warned, and after three warnings, you WILL be blocked. Permanently.

By-the-way: An edit comment that says: "(Page protection Test/Vandalism (ongoing vandalism by Pdfpdf))" is probably guaranteed to piss off somebody trying to prevent vandalism. If you REALLY think there's some evidence that you think my edits are vandalism, then supply it. Otherwise, you're just going to piss me off, and you're just going to to be subject to the results of my wrath. Pdfpdf (talk) 12:29, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Second vandalism warning

[edit]

It has been explained to you that:

  • The people on the page appear in alphabetic order. Putting Taylor between Foley and Forrestal is vandalism.
  • Stephen Taylor is a disambiguation page. NOT ONE of the entries on that page is an SAS person

IF you want to add Taylor to this page, wikipedia policy says you MUST provide a link to an existing page to the person (and there isn't one) OR you MUST supply a link to a reliable reference that confirms that Taylor is an SAS person. Other things have also been explained to you, not the least of which is after 3 warnings you will be permanently blocked. Pdfpdf (talk) 12:04, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

More vandalism ...

[edit]

Why would you think such mindless idiocy would achieve anything? Pdfpdf (talk) 12:24, 7 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Doing something useful ...

[edit]

If you want to add information about Stephen Taylor's SAS service to wikipedia, it is a wikipedia requirement that you provide a link to a web page that gives information about such service. I have looked, but can't find such a page. If you know of such a page, I'm happy to help you add Stephen Taylor, and a link to the page, to wikipedia. Pdfpdf (talk) 12:22, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
