Welcome

[edit]

Hello Ed120r24! and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Sébastien Haller, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a Help desk, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Egghead06 (talk) 13:43, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Louie Barry article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 13:52, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is literally a link to a photo of him representing Ireland and an article from a very credible publication which confirm it. Ed120r24! (talk) 00:06, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

So, please don't add unreferenced material, especially not in biographies of living people, and please don't talk to my fellow editors like you did. Drmies (talk) 20:18, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There was a reference dipshit https://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/ireland-under-16-cap-louie-barry-completes-move-to-barcelona/38303091.html Ed120r24! (talk) 11:52, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There was literally a photo in the article substantiating my claim, and there are many multiple references available elsewhere. This is very commonly available knowledge and the independent newspaper is a reliable source. Ed120r24! (talk) 12:01, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
