A few suggestions: -your paragraphs would be stronger if they had either more scientific papers cited or if instead of citing a paper you cited a review article -a few hyperlinks missing, although not sure how important that is -maybe you could elaborate on what environmental conditions you are referring to when you say "particular environmental conditions" -a few typos: "several AM fungal host", -you could add some info or a reference to what the secreted factors are that the plant secretes -I guess overall your paragraphs are good but they are maybe a bit to broad, not sure though -overall your second paragraph is better than the first, I think it has good level of detail that is missing from the first paragraph -if you wanted to you could talk about the kinds of environmental stresses that the AM fungi help the plant deal with -you could also expand/clarify how/why the degradation of arbuscules happens -overall tone is good and appropriate, citations are well used and appropriately placed Pierrj (talk) 21:56, 17 May 2017 (UTC)

Peer Review

This is a good explanation for how both hypha and spores contribute to the colonization of fine plant roots, you present the information well. The first paragraph sets up colonization and the second explains the process. I do think that for someone unfamiliar with biology, fungi, and plants there would be a lot of new vocabulary. Some of this may have been explained in an earlier section of the article, but if not it would be helpful if you linked terms like "fine roots", "hyphae", "cortical cells", or "cellular membrane" to other Wikipedia articles. Before posting on the main site (you are probably going to do this anyways, but) you should format the Reference section to the Wikipedia standard since the ones that are linked under the numbers have incomplete information.
