Hello, Economistman19, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Max S. Gordon, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

The article Max S. Gordon has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. matt (talk) 19:23, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello! I'm a bot created by another Wikipedia editor. I wanted to let you know that I removed a link that you recently added to the page Max S. Gordon here. I did this because http://morgansjoke.blogspot.com/ is probably inappropriate for an encyclopedia. We usually avoid linking to blogs, forums, and social media sites.

We appreciate your help in making Wikipedia better for everyone. If I made a mistake, feel free to undo my edit. If you have any questions, you can ask at the Help desk.

Thank you! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:34, 17 December 2011 (UTC) [reply]

I'm sorry if this is a repeat question, I seem to have lost my connection to the reference page. I received feedback that I needed to site more sources for the page I created, and I wanted to check with someone if it is now acceptable. There seems to be messages that still ask for sources on the page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_S._Gordon Thanks. ˜˜˜˜ ˜˜˜˜

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Max S. Gordon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Jhortman (talk) 03:30, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello - just a note that the article has now been deleted. The items you had cited as references were in fact links directly to his self-published articles or blogs - (see WP:REFSPAM), and the one item which may have qualified as a reliable source was the Sunday Telegraph, however that article didn't mention anything about him directly - just quoted him.  7  05:26, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
