Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Jagdamba Giants may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.— ASCII-002 I NotifyOnline 09:01, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request for articles improvement

[edit]

Hello, Thank you very much for your recent edits about Nepal cricket. In some articles about the Nepalese cricketers (especially of the ones who were in squad for the 2014 ICC World Twenty20), information borrowed from other websites (such as Cricketlok's Our Hero segment and The Himalayan Times' Playerspeak), or printed material were added without a verifiable license and I was informed if we do not improve them by writing the content using our own words, those contents will be deleted. Thus, I'd like to request you to check out those articles and try to write the same information on your own words so that it won't violates the copyright policy of Wikipedia. At the same time people who are interested to learn about Nepalese players can visit Wikipedia and get all necessary information about them. I know it's a big task but you can take one at a time. Cheers to Nepal Cricket! Cricshady (talk) 11:27, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just to clarify that the matches on the tour of Sri Lanka were not first-class matches. The Asian Cricket Council and the Cricket Association of Nepal did make a request to Cricket Sri Lanka for the matches to be granted first-class status, but the request was declined by Cricket Sri Lanka due to the quality of the local teams. 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2015-17 ICC Intercontinental Cup. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article List of wins by Associate Members against Full Members has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Listcruft/trivia – fails WP:LISTCRITERIA, topic isn't notable enough for a standalone list.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
