Not vandalism
I reverted the template back because I realized the changes I made a while back made the infoboxes of some colleges look bad. Why do you classify this as vandalism? Please try to be more careful with the rollback for vandalism button as it might scare new users who are merely carrying out edits in good faith. Remember Wikipedia:Assume good faith when you are fighting vandalism. Thank you. -- Marco Guzman, Jr Chat 23:25, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- I apologize for classifying your edit as "vandalism", as I intended to do a regular rollback. Your edit summary, however, did not clearly summarize what you did, and you appeared to be either maliciously removing all the content or "testing" editors to see how long it took for it to be reverted. Accurate edit summaries are important when editing because they allow somebody who is not familiar with the topic to judge whether edits were constructive. Thanks! - I see. I actually do understand, I have used Twinkle to fight vandalism and have made unintentional mistakes along the way. Also, when I typed "Please try to be more careful with the rollback for vandalism button", I didn't mean it in a condescending manner, but rather as something I have done myself. Anyways, keep up the good fight against vandals. Cheers. -- Marco Guzman, Jr Chat 23:44, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- It's all good. Again, sorry for the misunderstanding. Cheers back at ya'! EWikistTalk 23:58, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

New ubox and top-icon for WikiGryphons
- Please forgive the talk page spam. There are new userbox and topicon selections for editors who identify themselves as Wikigryphons; see User:Ling.Nut/Gryphontopicon2 and Template:User wikipedia/Gryphon2. Cheers! • Ling.Nut 02:14, 5 August 2010 (UTC
- Alright! They look great! And by the way, I don't consider this spam... :) EWikistTalk 13:22, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for keeping an eye on my edits. Since this was my fist page move I didn't pay attention to the talk page redirect. Through your message I realised that. Nice to know i'm Not Alone LittleWink (talk) 17:17, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- Glad to help! Huggle works miracles sometimes... :) EWikistTalk 17:27, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
RE: There Will Be Blood
It is "milkshake", not "water".
Please don't do that.

- I'm not completely sure what you are referring to, but if I reverted a proper edit, I apologize. EWikistTalk 23:46, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- Looking back, I see what happened. 89.241.155.55 did not use the edit summary, and, from an outside perspective, it seemed more likely that the term was "water", so I took it as vandalism. Sorry! EWikistTalk 23:49, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, when I look at edits I go to the "History" tab and look and see how many edits by a user were done. And most of the time, I also quickly paw through the last few edits just to make sure. Takes just a few seconds longer, but well worth it. > Best O Fortuna (talk) 00:13, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, I was using Huggle, and had a few other vandalisms queued up, so I passed this off as a quick revert. Again, sorry, and feel free to trout me next time! EWikistTalk 00:16, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

The Guild of Copy-Editors – September 2010 Backlog Elimination Drive The Wikipedia Guild of Copy-Editors invite you to participate in the September 2010 Backlog Elimination Drive, a month-long effort to reduce the backlog of articles that require copy-editing. The drive will begin on 1 September at 00:00 (UTC) and will end on 30 September at 23:59 (UTC). The goals for this drive are to eliminate 2008 from the queue and to reduce the backlog to fewer than 5,000 articles. Sign-up has already begun at the September drive page, and will be open throughout the drive. If you have any questions or concerns, please leave a message on the drive's talk page. Before you begin copy-editing, please carefully read the instructions on the main drive page. Please make sure that you know how to copy-edit, and be familiar with the Wikipedia Manual of Style. Awards and barnstars Thank you; we look forward to meeting you on the drive! |
