Hi, good job rephrasing and adding in more information on that second paragraph. Hou Yi in Chinese Mythology seems like an important person if he took down 9/10 of the suns. Maybe you can have a section on what happened after Hou yi took down the suns. If memory serves me right, the suns were the jade emperor's sons. Hou yi basically killed gods almost. I believe the jade emperor did punish Hou yi. Next another really popular Chinese legend is the story of chang er which is Hou yi's wife. Maybe you can focus on their relationship and the hardship after chang er took the immortal elixir. I also took a look at Chang er's Wiki page and it's also quite empty. Combination of Hou Yi and Chang er's legend and hardship would be great! I guess somewhere else that you can take inspiration from is the moon festival which stems from Hou yi and Chang er's story. Only thing though is that there are many many versions of this. Maybe you can do something like different version of the story? Good luck :D
- Chenny1 thanks for your feedback, your personal insight into the topic, and your suggestions going forward. EWLung keep working on expanding the story and adding sections, like we discussed in class yesterday. Remember to use the librarians' help to find concrete sources (and see if you can track down anything concrete about the association with the historical king). Even if it's to find a source that disproves any connection between the two, that could be helpful. Once you've bulked up the article, try to go beyond just telling the story and see how this figure has been incorporated into scholarship in general. Keep up the hard work!
