I am not sure if this is where I should be replying or not. I am a MLIS student and am taking a class - I am not familiar with the guidelines yet, but am working to be a wikipedian. If you could just give me the rest of the night to try and get the article to a "stub" level?

I have a lot of links... is there a "create, but not publish" option ... so one can continue to work on a page w/out "fear" it will be deleted?!

Welcome!

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on L.B. Brown requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. shoy (reactions) 15:16, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Wtmitchell. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Joshua Radin— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi, i BELIEVE this is how I respond to you. 1) can we get the picture gallery I had put up, back? 2) the ENTIRE reason for Radin's success IS his connection to Zack Braff... as he had never eve written a song before... he was just playing around and Braff gave it to his producers... the song "cut" in his bedroom. Furthermore, it is Braff's connection Scurbs which apparently is/ was big in Europe, gave Radin an instant fan base... & connection to scrubs, braff, & radin. so actually, it has EVERYTHING to do w/ his music. He can't have an interview w/o being asked his connection... which is school. so... (i was actually going to go to "talk" on this!) 3) his blog from sony is an empty link, but i can't reconcile it... and it keeps reverting back to template:twitter... which he is active w/ (FB as well... and Google+ though not nearly as active... he posts on FB (some, w/ pics of him and Braff) at least once a wk.... 4) I wanted the make the language Swedish... but i was getting an error (which i now believe had to do w/ coordinates) he wrote his LAST album-- (which that information ALSO got converted back) and it 2 albums OUT OF DATE...

so~???

thanks,

Good Morning, I noticed that you made a large number of changes to the Navy Supply Corps School wikipedia page and I'd like to know if you were ever on the staff here. I am the Public Affairs Officer at the schoolhouse here in Newport and have been trying to update the history of NSCS for a couple weeks now without success. My inputs have continued to be removed. Is there any support you can provide or can I potentially submit the changes to you and have you update the page? Thank you. SC Fan (talk) 13:31, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

It has been awhile since I have been on Wiki, so I am not even sure how to reply to you. that said, I am friends w/ two wiki folks. so I am sure I will know limited answers but can find them for you.

So yes, I DID make a lot of (or some? it was so long ago) to the Supply Corps Wiki page. I am a Library student (University of South FL (USF)) and one of my classes was wiki "involvement."

My husband is a Supply Officer and we were (already) married during his time there. I just remember the page being sparse.

As far as changes... therein lies the problem of Wiki - it has v. specific guidelines none of which i know -- from scratch.

But probably 90% of the stuff inputted by non-wiki nerds (said affectionately - my 2 friends are v cool - they are just passionate, and doing it a long time).

So "technically" you should be able to update the page. But it has to be formatted EXACT. i would be more than happy to call you and maybe we could walk through some of it-- or at least explain the important "musts."

not sure how familiar w/ HTML - it is easier (for me) to edit a page using the "html" page...

I just want to make sure this is actually the P.A.O. (do they use that acronym?) anyway - that you are connected w/ the school and I'm not conversing w/ a 14 year old child. (& that is not said w/ any disrespect - but i've never been contacted on wiki -- so, anyway--u understand.

i'm super friendly and talkative ;-)

so write back (i guess "edit" this section again) i will be looking throughout the day-- I am TWO (2!) classes from graduating with my MLIS- librarian.

let me know how to get a hold of you (office #) and i'll call you.

much easier to talk the explanation (and not a very good one at that, but it's their rules!)

will be looking forward to hearing from you.

(P.S. - as information can change daily, I am curious (and won't b offended in the least) if you are adding additional information or if you are changing facts on mine (and citation is #1)

Thank you for getting back to me so promptly! I am the PAO for NSCS and therein has lied the issue. They consider it a conflict of interest since I work here and may just "paint [the schoolhouse] in the best possible light." My office number here, public information, is 401-841-4813. I'll take any help I can get at this point. It's been an ongoing issue for about a month now and it's been fun reporting on it the whole time. Thank you again and I look forward to hearing from you. Hello, i tried calling a couple of times- no real quarterdeck person??? (CDO wasn't pleased i called after hours... though im pretty sure that's her job- & yes it sucks sometimes!) anyhow i gave her my info bc i read your talk page & i saw that about conflict of interest- which is dumb bc they want people w/in their expertise to write CORRECT info- anyway- it's late & ive been gone the kast 15 days- im headed to bed.

my # is 831.392.5233

Husband (as i call him) aka CMDR DeAngelo Ashby ~ has been in 20 years - this past May ~ w/ me, every step of the way... are u a student or staff?

ive got a Drs appt @ 10:30 est - she usually runs 45 mins to an hour late. i can try & call u then- once ive checked in... as i'll prob have some time.

i have another appt @ 2-4.

packers for - day (i guess there were 8 today- which is insane) & Thurs movers.

im in school (2 classes to finish & get my MLIS degree) i think i wrote that. point being- i have a laptop & ipad & can help walk through etc.

i will try & text my friend who is a guru & see what he says- (about conflict) yet & still- i'll give u the lowdown

don't give up. it started underground w/ a bunch of nerds - who like to have control- but it's still a very valuable & reliable source to start research.

im free in thurs most of day- let me know if u will around tomorrow around 10:30-

Emilie (what's your name?!!) we will talk soon EVanNicole 05:50, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
