It has already been deleted, I assume by a moderator of volunteer, which is cool, I'm still learning here, and I'm frankly not sure how to do much of anything properly. I do feel quite dumb but I appreciate your prompt response.

No big thing, I just ran across it while checking for spambots, which you're clearly not. There's no problem with mentioning your off-wiki interest, you just can't use the encyclopedia as a host or a way to create traffic. Please feel free to help out with the (factual) encyclopedia!
