Welcome to wikipedia. Please do not add uncited information to wikipedia as you did with [this edit] to Louisiana's 6th congressional district special election, 2008. If you wish to add controversial/new data in wikipedia, please find a valid source to site.--Dr who1975 (talk) 20:04, 13 March 2008 (UTC) |
Do you know where I can go toget a final list of who qualified and who didn't?--Dr who1975 (talk) 23:19, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- If qualifying was at the end of January...how did they qualify? Either that was only qualifying for party nomination or residency is not a requirement. I'll give you a day or two and if I don't hear from you I will be forced to remove the info.--Dr who1975 (talk) 23:34, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Try the Louisiana Secretary of State Website. Those that did not qualify have no relevance here. There is no way to prove who may have run. These are only rumors/— Preceding unsigned comment added by EBRPARISH (talk • contribs)
- Your response is not substantive... qualifying ended on January 31st and theosurce you provided says the list is official after qualifying has ended... I interpret that to mean residency is not a requirement.--Dr who1975 (talk) 13:53, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Who said anything about residency being a requirement? You just have to live in Louisiana. What is relevant is whether a person running in a particular district actually lives in the district. This is information that the voters of the district need to know.— Preceding unsigned comment added by EBRPARISH (talk • contribs)
- You could use different wording...something like "Bill Smith of so-and so county" or "John Doe of CityName". That would be a less dramatic/POV way to put it.--Dr who1975 (talk) 23:35, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
