HI...
Hi Dylan... I am still ready for more lessons...
P.S. : It would be nice if you could give them periodically without me asking every time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rkr1991 (talk • contribs) 12:11, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

DYK
Quick question. I just nommed a new article for DYK. The hook is 12 characters over the limit of 200, but that's due to the fact that the article title is really long. Do you think this will be a problem? Thanks, Javért | Talk 23:22, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- That's perfectly OK. Cheers, Dylan620 (contribs, logs)help us! 23:29, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, good times. Thanks, Dylan. Javért | Talk 23:31, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

DYK
Thanks for reviewing my hook so fast! Favoring your former adoptee, are we? ;) The V-Man (Said · Done) 18:39, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- Heh. :) Well, seeing a name I know post a new DYK nom does set off a mental note saying, "review that hook!" I guess I should tackle the rest of the backlog while I'm here. --Dylan620 (contribs, logs)help us! 19:00, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- Hehe, I know the feeling. Yes, that's my next task after I'm finished picking at my new article. I may have to go out and take a picture of the department's logo myself. The V-Man (Said · Done) 19:03, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Adminship
You had asked me last week if I would be requesting adminship sometime in October, and I told you that I didn't know but would get back to you when I did. I've thought long and hard about it, and I really don't see myself requesting adminship any time soon.. maybe somewhere down the line (earliest would probably be in April of 2010) , but not now. I am, however, still very honored that you would ask me such a question. :) Regards, Javért | Talk 04:22, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
- That's a shame. Oh well, I respect your decision. :) (Just for the record, I have Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Javert watchlisted.) Cheers, Dylan620 (contribs, logs)help us! 11:10, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

- @ Kingpin, it's hard to believe that a future RfA has 7 (apparently it's gone up in popularity since you linked to it) watchers. How cool is that? :) @ Dylan, yeah things in life are hectic right now for me. Plus, while I think it has a chance of passing in October, if I wait until April and keep improving, it should be a breeze. ;) Also, thanks for the talk page revert.
I don't recall ever having any contact with that IP. Strange.Ah, I see. I reverted some of his edits. Regards, Javért | Talk 18:07, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Re: Two Things
You don't need my permission for the WP:FOUR thing, you can just go ahead and add my name and second, I don't remember how to get it. Titoxd helped me get it set up, it took three hours to do it though. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 21:03, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Need help.
Hi, me and a couple of others are in a dispute in the same sex marriage article and would like advice from an admin or something because we're in a dispute. If you are willing to help, Talk:Same-sex_marriage#Is_anyone_watching_the_changes_in_the_lead.3F and read towards the bottom. The dispute is over where to put the term "Marriage equality." Thanks <tommy> (talk) 00:25, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I'm not an admin, but I'll see what I can do to help. Cheers, Dylan620 (contribs, logs)help us! 00:28, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, unfortunately one of the editors still doesn't get the idea of consensus. Please don't lock the whole page yet, we have been working together quite well, otherwise (my two cents). Any advice is welcomed. Thanks again. Ragazz (talk) 05:52, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Re: Dance, Voldo, Dance
I left a response over there, hopefully that'll be adequate. Pretty much it boils down to WP:LEAD/FAC editors argue against redundant lead sourcing (everything there is in the article already) and that the development is covered by the creator's discussion on the subject, with the secondary source there to verify his claims about corporate interest in the video.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 01:53, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Hey
hey Dylan, I was just wondering, what ever happened to your sandbox article on "What If" I remember that you made one and invited me to help out but I cant find it in your sandbox.--Coldplay Expert 01:11, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- Hey CE. My sandbox article on "What If" (located here) never took off because I couldn't find any sources. :( If you are interested in taking it from where I left off, I can move the sandbox into your userspace for you. --Dylan620 (contribs, logs)help us! 01:54, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Oh my gosh that would be great, I would love to have it! I already have white shadows along with other stuff. im gona go to bed so goodnight!--Coldplay Expert 01:59, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'm hitting the hay too; nitey night! Tomorrow afternoon (approx. 16 hours), the sandbox for "What If" becomes yours officially. :) --Dylan620 (contribs, logs)help us! 02:01, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Re: Retired
I do consider myself retired, but I am making gnomeish edits and keeping an eye on the articles I have made or updated on my watchlist. I haven't though done any updating since going into retirement. I know that isn't the definition of retirement, but I don't have anyone to take over watching the articles I watch yet. - NeutralHomer • Talk • 17:48, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
