Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page The Office (U.S. TV series) do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

An article you recently created, Jennifer Hale (sportscaster), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I believe this page should stay on for a few reasons. 1. Miss Florida pageant hasn't started yet, it's in two weeks. She could be Miss Florida and a Miss America contestant and possibly a Miss America and even if she's isn't I still believe this page is worth keeping. Millions of people have some form of autism and why not a page or several of those who have autism. Inspire people. Plus I'm sure there will be more articles about her in the upcoming days, week. Notice

The article Nicolette Jennings has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:BIO and does not have a notability criteria.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have added more including two more references which included her birthdate and the city she was raised in and thought about adding more of her accomplishments from her high school golf career but after the Lauren Sisler page was flagged for adding her awards, I had to cut to a good chunk of the page. I'm afraid to add more of Holly's accomplishments fearing a repeat of Sisler's page. I could see if I find more references on Holly though of all the pages I created I think Holly's is the second-longest I've done. Dwightforrm ( talk )

Now I find about six more references on Holly and added some external links as well. Dwightforrm ( talk )

Brian Kilmeade

[edit]

Hi Dwightforrm, I removed your BLP PROD tag from Brian Kilmeade. That tag is explicitly only applicable when the article contains no sources whatsoever; see WP:BLPPROD for the chapter and verse. I think that you would struggle to get the article deleted through WP:AFD, since the subject appears to be notable. If your concern is that the article is not in a good state, I couldn't disagree, but I don't think deletion is the solution. Best, Wham2001 (talk) 20:36, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Alyssa Lang

[edit]

Hello, Dwightforrm,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Vermont and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Alyssa Lang should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alyssa Lang.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Vermont}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

This is getting a little upsetting. I'm still pissed of the Deletion of Holly Sonders and now this. This is BS. Dwightforrm (talk) 03:30, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Annie Sabo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username SportingFlyer and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Brooke Fletcher, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
