Seems absurd to me, I have no desire to advertise an open source repo. It's factual that the project is a web desktop. Doesn't seem like much consideration was given based on the message. DustinBrett (talk) 04:30, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I posted a very well known web desktop to the Web Desktop Wikipedia article, Widr was incorrect to block me for this as it is not promotion to add a relevant link to the article DustinBrett (talk) 17:18, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You said it was your own website, this is a severe conflict of interest. It is indeed promotion to link to your own website without discussion or consensus. Anything can be promoted, you don't have to profit from it. 331dot (talk) 18:05, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
