War
[edit]Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I see you're new here, with only 24 edits as of this post. As such, I take it you are not familiar with WP:BRD. Basically, you make an edit (adding, changing or removing content) and then your edit gets reverted. If you disagree with the revert, please don't revert again, adding your arguments to the edit summary. Instead, start a discussion on the article talk page. This is not only your opportunity to discuss your point of view, but it gives others a chance to discuss the content as well. Leaving the content in place while it is discussed will not harm the project. However, your revert is the first step in an edit war, which is harmful to the project. Thanks for your cooperation, and again, welcome. - wolf 05:48, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
- Hello. I gave my arguments already. 1. It is article about war, still there is no independent sections of ww1, vietnam war etc etc. 2. Long peace is therm what is not widely accepted in schoolar community. 3. Long peace article was really personal pov and cherry picked. 4. Put it to talk page and lets see. If people agree to add ok.5. War is protected article cos ppl were adding content already so before to add or make subsection talk page. 6. Anyway recent studies also shows rise of number of conflicts in the world.

- Hello again, and yes, I see you posted to the article talk page, (like you should've after you were first reverted) but the point is that once you post, you then give others a chance to respond and then either by agreement, consensus or policy, your edit stays (as is or altered) or is removed. But instead, you posted and then reverted again, without any discussion. This is basically edit-warring, its disruptive and is largely the reason the page is now locked. Your reasons or opinions are not the only ones. Once you're reverted, if you disagree, then you should leave the page be (it will be fine, even if it's not your preferred version for a short time), start a discussion and allow time.for others to take part. But there will hopefully be some discussion there now. (btw: please WP:INDENT your posts) - wolf 15:52, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
