Thanks for helping out with this page. My spelling and grammer are horrendiuous. :) --Home Computer 21:02, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Dulc, question for you... Have you ever heard the term literalist being used in theological publications? There's a heated discussion right now that could use more knowledgable input. It centers around the doctrine of biblical inerrency and the term biblical literalism (which is the belief that all parables are literal). I don't think the view actually exists, but nonetheless. Take a look here Biblical literalism and then help the discussion on the delete page if you could. It looks like an attempt to consfuse the topic of inerrency for the sake of making people who believe in inerrency look stupid. Also, there's no real documentation on the issue so I'm trying to kill it. Peace. --Home Computer 22:05, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This does confuse the issues of Biblical Inerrancy/Infallibility, but I'm afraid that a separate belief of Biblical Literalism does exist. This is a form of extremism, going well-beyond inerrancy and infallibility. Biblical Literalism is what's addressed in Matthew 13 and Mark 4. John 3 also sheds some light on this subject, as Nicodemus initially took a parable literally. While inerrancy and infallibility are nearly identical and widely-accepted forms of hermeneutics; literalism is completely different. In fact, the Biblical positions of inerrancy and infallibility outright reject literalism, based largely on the Scripture referred to above. -- Dulcimerist 17:21, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Petr z Mladoňovic

[edit]

He wasnt Petr Chelčický but I am not good in English nor in history to write some long text. He was moderate hussite and againist taborites. Because struggles between catholics and hussites he rather left Prague and concentrated on scholarship. He mostly studied Aristotle, he also took part in mission to Rome in support of confirmation of Jan Rokycana as archibishop. Still he is most well known for his report about Hus´s last hours. -Redy

Hi. I'd like to bring your attention to a new learning project in Wikiversity. As you have been involved with the discussion on the wikipedia Parkinson's disease page I felt you might be interested in looking at the project and perhaps even contributing material to it.
