Rahmanism

[edit]

Thank you for writing the article on Rahmanism! Wikipedia is missing good articles on many historical and religious subjects, so it is nice to see a great new editor working in these areas. One thing I noticed on the article is that you included a list of references which is great, but you didn't include any inline citations. Click here for a tutorial on how to reference sources in articles on Wikipedia. If you have any questions or need help adding citations, click my talk page and write me a message as I'd be glad to assist. --Odie5533 (talk) 02:20, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Ancient history of Yemen, without verifying it by citing reliable sources. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Charles (talk) 17:25, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The information I inserted was translated from the German Wikipedia page about Ancient South Arabia, which I am merging into the present article. There was clearly no point in starting a separate page on Ancient South Arabia as it would be covering the same ground. After adding the information I was about to add the references, and the bibliography. There is also a lot of extra information in the Arabic version of the Ancient history of Yemen which I might have added. Shall I continue, or just abandon it? Hello Ducky59. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Saba' (Yemen)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Saba' (Yemen)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 03:01, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Rahmanism has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This entire article appears to be original research, and thus likely qualifies as a hoax. After looking into this further, there doesn’t appear to be any reliable material that doesn’t originate from this article, aside from an Islamic apologetics and a Saudi tourism site, both of which appear to be OR meant to deny the Judaic identification of the civilization. There’s nothing found in scholarly literature, and the scholarly consensus appears to be that there is no confusion about this being a title for the Jewish god, adopted as a national deity in ancient Yemen.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
