Commercial
[edit]Commercial and non-free are not antonyms. Please see Free software, Proprietary software, Commercial software. --AVRS (talk) 09:49, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for the links. Having read them, however, I'm still not clear on why ScrumbleShip would be non-free, rather than commercial :software. As the Commercial software page explains, "Commercial software can be proprietary software, and free software packages may :also be commercial software." It seems that ScrumbleShip fits the Wikipedia definition of "commercial software", and therefore fits into :the "Commercial games" section of the Linux gaming page.
- Granted, the Linux gaming page could stand to be reorganized, possibly to include tables like the ones featured on the List of Macintosh games page. It could also stand to have more detailed tables like "Commercial Linux games", "Free Linux games", "Commercial Linux games :in development", etc. Thoughts?

- Well, it is both non-free and commercial. I undid your edit because it was non-free, not because it was commercial. But the difference between the sections is not very clear; it is especially confusing because some people think “free” means “free of charge” and/or that “commercial” means “proprietary” (which may or may not be consistent with what the original section namers meant). --AVRS (talk) 19:57, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
