RIT mascot
[edit]Hi, Dstumme. Thanks for providing a reference for the information in the RIT article. However, the reference you provided says nothing at all about RIT being unable to acquire a tiger cub in the 80s due to endangered species laws. The tiger that RIT helped the Zoo acquire was immediately after Spirit's death, in the 60s. Do you have some other source that explains about some attempt in the 80s? Thanks! Powers T 12:54, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Oops. I was focusing on the fact that another cat was co-sponsored by RIT, not the issue with endangered species laws. I don't have a good reference for that one. I had already cut some other unverifiable (and some totally wrong) info from that section. I'd have no issue with removing that sentence altogether if we can't find a reference for it. It's someone else's addition that I was just doing some fact checking on anyway. I undid my addition of the reference. Thanks for the catch. Dstumme 14:49, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, yes. It was 209.166.32.66 (talk · contribs) who added the bit about the 80s and protection laws. Considering that's the only edit from that IP, ever, asking him/her about it is probably pointless. I'll revert that paragraph back to the older version. Sorry for the trouble. =) Powers T 14:50, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, he also had some nonsense about RIT buying one of the current cubs at the zoo, and had Spirit dying in the 1980's, instead of 1964. Those cubs were BORN at Seneca Park Zoo ~2 years ago. *lol* Dstumme 14:52, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Rod Serling article vandalism
[edit]Hello,
Thank you for correcting all that vandalism on the Rod Serling article. However, there is still one section that still remains vandalized, and I don't know how to fix it since it is so deep into the text. It is the section, "Teaching". Could you please fix it? I still haven't gotten the full hang of undoing edits. Thanks. -- Michael David (talk) 22:19, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
- Actually the Section "Teaching" has not bee restored, just blanked out. If you go back into the Article's history to April 17, you'll see what I mean. -- Michael David (talk) 22:55, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- After some improvisation and head scratching :-), I was finally able to locate and copy/paste the original text into the blanked-out Section. This policy of letting absolutely anyone edit anonymously is frustrating. :-(. -- Michael David (talk) 13:09, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Rod Serling - Again!
[edit]Hello, it's me - again!,
I tried to undo the latest vandalism on Rod Serling's article, and somehow managed to really mess it up. I tried a couple of times to fix it, but still didn't get it right. Help! Your computer-challenged friend, Michael David (talk) 16:36, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
A personal Thank You! for fixing the mess in the Rod Serling Article. -- Michael David (talk) 23:11, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
Grant Morrison photo
[edit]Hi. Your opinion on what would be the best photo for the Infobox in the Grant Morrison article is requested here. If you could take the time to participate, it would be greatly appreciated, but if you cannot, then disregard; you don't have to leave a note on my talk page either way. Be careful an edit summary doesn't make matters worse
[edit]Thank you for your revert of an IP's edit to GameTZ.com. This was one of those cases where it's better to have a vague edit summary than a descriptive one; your edit summary called attention to the nature of the IP's edit. The WP:PRIVACY violation was severe enough that I've deleted that revision of the article and requested oversight to permanently strike the edit from the record. I also revision-deleted your edit summary. Reasons for that include to deny recognition of the edit and to not give any other griefing GameTZ users any ideas.
All that said, thank you for cleaning up that edit to get the offending information out of the current version of the article! —C.Fred (talk) 01:39, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 10
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Belissa Escobedo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC.
