Hello. I have been registered for some weeks, yet am still barred from editing semi-protected pages (e.g. Abraham Lincoln). I was able to edit semi-protected pages after the usual waiting period (and did), but now I can't. Is there something I am missing? Thank you. Drz1627 (talk) 04:28, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- It seems that Abraham Lincoln wasn't semi-protected when you edited it. Your account was registered on May 2; I think it has to be older than that. Ask an admin. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 04:53, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Your account must be in existence for 4 days and have made 10 edits to be able to edit semi-protected pages; you've only made around 7 to the mainspace. Try a few more and you should be able to. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 04:56, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- This is unbelievable -- Wikipedia is so big and yet my question got answers almost immediately. Wonderful. Thank you! Drz1627 (talk) 10:12, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Worry not, little grasshopper
[edit]The Reagan article isn't being ruled by the Right Wing, no so long as I draw breath. But it will be neutral. Keep the faith and do not get frustrated with Hap's seeming intransigence. He is pretty reasonable. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 05:07, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
