January 2013

[edit]

Hello, I'm Dan56. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page ¡Dos!‎, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Per MOS:ALBUM#Critical reception, there is a 10 review limit for the ratings template, and the notability of the review sources should be considered. In general, the most reliable source(s) on a particular topic should be used. The review source you added is not used by either Metacritic or AnyDecentMusic?, nor WP:ALBUMS/REVSITE. If an album did not receive enough reviews from mainstream critics to write a sufficient "critical reception" section, then lesser known critics may be used. Rock Cellar Magazine and conflict of interest

[edit]

I strongly urge you to stop adding reviews by Rock Cellar Magazine. As stated above, indie reviews may sometimes be included, but linking to your own reviews or to a magazine which you are affiliated with presents a conflict of interest and is considered spam. You'll probably want to go back and revert your edits as well. Woodroar (talk) 20:28, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
