Alvin York article
[edit]I appreciate that you feel strongly about the article but plesae stop removing that same chunk of information with discussing it on the talk page. --Kumioko (talk) 15:02, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
I'll second this statement. All entries are open to amendment and there's nothing to fear from open discussion. Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 02:50, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- I see that you have continued to revert this after repeated requests to stop. Personally if I was an admin I would temporarily block you for a day but since I am not and have no powers to do so I requested that the Alvin C. York article be semi protected from editing. --Kumioko (talk) 18:06, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
You appear to be involved in an edit war
[edit]You appear to be involved in an edit war, according to the reverts you have made on Alvin C. York. If you edit disruptively including breaking the three-revert rule you may be blocked without further warning.
- If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording, and content that represents consensus among editors.
- Alternatively you can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Kansan (talk) 19:22, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Alvin York
[edit]Hi, if you remove that material again, you're likely to be blocked from editing. Please discuss your objections to it on Talk:Alvin York. Many thanks, SlimVirgin TALK|CONTRIBS 20:34, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
- I've blocked this account indefinitely as it seems it's been used only for disruption recently. The reverting continued after the warning above, and had earlier led to a request for page protection. For the benefit of any other admin looking at this, it seems Drhistory was also reverting as 142.166.198.221 (talk · contribs), 142.166.203.155 (talk · contribs), and 142.166.197.239 (talk · contribs). I'll post the block template below so Drhistory can request an unblock if s/he wants to; any admin looking at this can go ahead and unblock, or not, as you see fit.
