Kurdish phonology

[edit]

Hello, I've seen your change [1], where you changed /ɯ/ for /ɪ/ in the Kurdish phonology page. Personally, this phoneme has always been problematic for me. Some phonologists describe it as/ɯ/ (Khan, Celadet Bedir; Lescot, Roger (1970), "I - est l'équivalent du I turc,", p. 3.) and others describe it as /ɪ/ or even /ɨ/ for NK. Do you think its possible that the sound varies from region to region or maybe the sound is differs in NK and in CK? --Ahmedo Semsurî (talk) 22:59, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
