The I.P. address that Wikipedia says is responsible for vandalism is NOT MY address. There must be a mistake. I'd like to contribute to Wikipedia but it looks like I've been over-zealously blocked for nothing.

It's not "overzealous blocking". Please assume good faith. There is a system called autoblock which causes these blocks; we also have no way of knowing which account is attached to which IP address (for privacy reasons). In future, if you get hit by an autoblock, rather than stamping your foot and saying bad things about good people, just give us a cut-and-paste of the message you received and we'll try to help. ➨ ЯEDVERS 08:52, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
