D&D articles for Wikipedia 0.7

[edit]

Hi there!  :)

As someone who's worked on D&D and/or RPG articles before, I'm inviting you to participate in our goal to both improve articles that have been selected to be placed in the next Wikipedia DVD release, as well as nominate more to be selected for this project. Please see the WikiProject D&D talk page for more details. :) BOZ (talk) 17:57, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pas(s)agians

[edit]

See my proposals to amalgamate the articles Pasagians and Passagianism. I presume that Pasagians and Passagians are the same, but do not know which is the correct spelling. Hugo999 (talk) 00:58, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Number of episodes

[edit]

{{Template parameter value|Arrow (TV series)|Infobox television||num_episodes|}} = 170. Same for the other series. Just change the first parameter to the article's title, leave the rest as it is. -- /Alex/21 16:14, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Are you going to actually read this and reply, or just keep adding unnecessary tags to be reverted? -- /Alex/21 16:21, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I messed up. Sorry. It was working in the first three or four I did and then I just figured it was going to continue to work. I didn't see the messages for a while there. Sorry, I've stopped now. David Reiss (talk) 16:31, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No problems. Saw you making the changes and proposed an alternative that would be a lot easier than having to modify a ton of articles, but you kept going with it. Many articles actually used to use those tags for {{Aired episodes}}, but that template was update to use {{Template parameter value}}. Hope it makes editing easier! Cheers. -- /Alex/21 00:19, 15 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. You appear to have made some reverts lately on List of longest-running scripted U.S. primetime television series. Please be aware that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reverts on a single page within a 24 hour period. Rather than reverting edits, please consider using the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. The dispute resolution processes may also help. Excessive reverting may result in a loss of editing privileges. It is considered good practice to provide a summary for every edit, especially when reverting (undoing) the actions of other editors. Accurate summaries help the original editor understand what was wrong with their contribution so they can fix it and not make the same mistake in the future. --Pascal666 18:47, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to List of longest-running United States television series, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - R9tgokunks 09:12, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Removing that much content that has been included on that page for years requires consensus on the talk page before hand. I have reverted your reagain. The information will stay on the page until such time as you have this discussion with the other editors of that page. I've been one of the main maintainers of that page for long while now. dreiss2 (talk) 06:34, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Dreiss2: - "I've been one of the main maintainers of that page for long while now." is a blatant show of ownership, something which is not allowed on Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia:Ownership. - R9tgokunks 09:19, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm R9tgokunks. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to List of longest-running United States television series have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. There is no reason to keep removing Ghost Hunters. - R9tgokunks 09:13, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of longest-running United States television series. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. - R9tgokunks 09:14, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at List of longest-running United States television series. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. - R9tgokunks 09:15, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Again, you are not following Wikipedia standards. All this MUST be discussed on the talk page. Something you are refusing to do. I am going to take this to dispute resolution. dreiss2 (talk) 11:53, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute resolution. dreiss2 (talk) 12:18, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please familiarise yourself with the Wikipedia policy I have just linked in the heading of this message and learn to follow it. - R9tgokunks 09:17, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And I will again remind you to read Wikipedia: Ownership - R9tgokunks 09:19, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
