[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Someone like You (Adele song)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 16:03, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
Your edit was undone because per WP:ALBUM, track list template should only be used where it is necessary. Simple track lists should appear as a list >> Lil-unique1 (talk) — 23:11, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you, @Lil-unique1, for letting me know. There are so many rules and I sometimes make mistakes or confuse the rules from different wikis, because each wiki has it's own set of rules. I rarely edit on en:wiki. My bad, I'll try to remember this rule next time. Thanks again --Dream Indigo 23:27, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
Could you help me?
[edit]Dear Dream Indigo, could you help me add categories to Template:User A thank you never hurts to make it more findable? Also, do you know where I can name my essay so that it will come to the attention and become better known? Looking forward to hearing from you! Kind regards, S. Perquin (talk) (discover the power of thankfulness!) – 08:40, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- Dear @S. Perquin,
- About categories, I saw that you were faster than me and you already added them, that's great! I only changed the sort key to "thank you", to find them more easily inside those big categories.
- I sadly do not know where you can name it, I am more active on Simple English Wikipedia and I am a little bit lost here, because enwiki is a huge place. Sorry for that By the way, I found your essay on Template:Wikipedia essays, so that's a great start!
- P.S. If you feel comfortable with that, we can be more informal: I am still just a young adult If you prefer formality, it's great too!
- Kind regards from
Dream Indigo 10:52, 4 May 2024 (UTC)- Yup, I added the essay to Template:Wikipedia essays, haha! I prefer informality by the way! 😄 Kind regards from the Netherlands, S. Perquin (talk) (discover the power of thankfulness!) – 10:58, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Paper9oll. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, XG (group), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 09:18, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Paper9oll: Yeah I know, I am not new to Wikipedia, I'm a regular, but mobile editing is a mess, at least for me. I can't open more than one tab without my phone imploding. I couldn't copy-paste the formatting and the citation template and the link at the same time. So I thought I'd just leave it like that and source it later since it's very easily verifiable information. ✩ Dream Indigo ✩ 09:26, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- Done This would have been so easy on PC, an one edit only kinda thing. ✩ Dream Indigo ✩ 09:34, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Dream Indigo If there's limitations that prevented you from having the content + citation included in the same edit, then please mention it explicitly in the edit summary, neither of the edit summaries in the 3 edits made prior to me reverting you mentioned such, so that patrollers (like me) knows that you're still editing and/or will include the citation in the following edit to be made in a few minutes time. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 10:01, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Paper9oll: Thank you for the tip, I will say it next time. Also thank you for your patience (I always lose it on the app) ☺️ Happy editing! (It sounds sarcastic but I am genuine) ✩ Dream Indigo ✩ 10:05, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
