Request reason:

Request for IP block exemption.
I live in Mainland China so I need to bypass the Great Firewall of China (which resets connection whenever specific politically sensetive words in webpage are detected or encrypted https connection is attemped) via shadowsocks proxy running on my private server (198.74.110.214) which hosts my personal blog.
I have joined Chinese Wikipedia since a couple of years ago and is currently being a patroller and rollbacker there. Recently I wish to edit in English Wikipedia and found my IP blocked.
I am already granted global ipblock exemption for this reason. Proxy running on my server is only used by me and a handful of trusted friends, never opened to the public.
Thank you!

Accept reason:

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. T. Canens (talk) 15:22, 30 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Pushbullet

[edit]

The article Pushbullet has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

zero evidence of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
