[edit]Sorry, I was RC patrolling, and generally you don't have a lot of time to look through the edit history (since someone could view the article and then our "reputation" would be spoiled) when you're doing this. I just reverted to the last revision before the anon begin editing. Sorry if that was the wrong one. By the way, in case anyone hasn't done so already, welcome! [edit]Hi there! Thanks for your inquiry. I don't see there being a problem with you commenting as you did here, since this post is not within the vote currently. Discourse is not bad!
However, I'd really recommend limiting responses within the vote section and (if you can't 'control yourself! :)) keeping them extremely brief. When I comment (and do so only to provide options or to clarify matters), I try to do so from a balanced perspective. We run a risk in obscuring the actual vote with excessive dialogue. May I suggest you edit and pare down your initial comments? Merci! E Pluribus Anthony 19:11, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
I disagree that the link to Lazy Sunday is unrelated to Music Inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia. If you click on the article, you'll see that it literally is music inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia.--M@rēino 02:36, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
The reason I deleted the article about Kyle Lake's death from the David Crowder Band article was because it was irrelevant to a biography page about the band. It was a horrible thing that happened to the pastor, but I felt that it was irrelevant to an article about David Crowder Band. LukeLengl 17:02, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:PCAEagle.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:PCAEagle.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ~ Wikihermit 01:55, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Hymnsancientandmodern.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Hymnsancientandmodern.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 17:40, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Gwinnett Christian Home Educators
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Gwinnett Christian Home Educators requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 06:14, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
