Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Wikipedia house style

Hi. A couple comments about this edit: first, Wikipedia articles generally do not use titles like "Dr." or "Prof."; see the Manual of Style. Second, it appears that you have duplicated some material that was present earlier in the article. The Hazen et al. paper is currently both reference 9 and reference 16, for example. New message to JulioISalazarG

Two things about references:

Per WP:LEADCITE, it's usually not necessary or particularly desirable to add inline references to the lead section of an article, which is meant to be a summary of the cited material in the article body itself.
It's also usually unnecessary to add more citations for a single claim. It could be desirable to replace lower quality citations if your replacement makes all the same claims, but simply tacking more on by itself doesn't really help. Remsense ‥ 论 06:51, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
