Translation notice

[edit]

Hi there! Could I please ask you to make sure that proper cross-project attribution is observed for material that has been translated from deWP? As fas as I can make out, you have translated and imported lots of material now used at Heteropterygini, Heteropterygidae and Obriminae, with Datamini coming up. This type of transferral needs to be explicitly linked to the translation source, which is most easily done on each article's talk page using the template {{translated page}}. Thank you! --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 20:58, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Done and thanks for the advice ;-) --Drägü (talk) 06:53, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Sungaya into Sungaya inexpectata. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 20:04, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hope this ok like I did it here: Talk:Sungaya--Drägü (talk) 08:10, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No. What you are supposed to do is to say in your edit summary at the time you copy content into a different Wikipedia article where you got the content from. like I did hereDiannaa (talk) 13:10, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started

[edit]

Hello, Drägü. Thank you for your work on Brasidas lacerta. Storye book, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Thank you for this very interesting article. I have checked for copyvio, and copyedited it for Standard English. I added a couple of Citation-needed templates plus an Authority control template; otherwise I found no issues.

Although the copyedit was for language and not for content, I may have unintentionally changed the intended meaning slightly, so please read it through and check that the scientific meaning has remained accurate.

I look forward to seeing more similar articles from you.
