iNetVideo Tag - Orphan

Thanks for the cleanup by adding the Orphan tag at iNetVideo. Have since gone in and linked Montreal to the article under Montreal "economy" in the section for Montreal area businesses (as there were already dozens listed at that location). Thanks again for the help!!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Morning277 (talkcontribs) 12:11, 30 January 2012

A discussion that may be of interest to you

Hey there, Download, there is a discussion that may interest you at Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit/Re-formatting/Discussion#CVU Guideline Proposal. As one of the hardest working Anti-vandals that I've run into, I'm sure the Project would love to hear your imput. Cheers! Achowat (talk) 19:11, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi Achowat, thanks for the notice! Taking a look now - and glad to help, by the way. :) -download ׀ email 21:02, 1 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi Rajanaicker, sorry for the late response; didn't notice this message until now! At first glance I'm not sure why but your addition does look decently legitimate so I would try discussing it with the user who removed it and possibly re-adding it if you reach consensus. -download ׀ message 00:01, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
I assume you are talking about this edit: [2] -download ׀ message 00:02, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

yes that edit only and [[3]] this too , i enclosed all the historical references . please verify and add those necessary details . it was revit now, nayak title is different as list of nayakars . nayakar is tamil version denotes group of castes . --Rajanaicker — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rajanaicker (talkcontribs) 07:46, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

I'm not really knowledgable of the topic so if I were to help you in re-adding the content it'd only lead to an edit war. I recommend you continue discussing the matter with the other user on your talk page and try to reach consensus. -download ׀ message 21:17, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Pepperstone.png

Thanks for uploading File:Pepperstone.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. February 2012

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working, as you did to Payday loan. Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. (sorry to template a non-newbie, but it's a pretty good explanation of the situation) DMacks (talk) 02:07, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Hey DMacks, thanks for the notice - I'll try to find a working replacement instead.  :) -download ׀ message 02:09, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
P.S. sorry for removing that link after you reverted; didn't notice. :P -download ׀ message 02:13, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

flooring references

I'm going to remove the ref and leave the text. Someone who sells laminate flooring will claim all sorts of advantages, but it doesn't pass WP:V. tedder (talk) 23:21, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Alright, thanks for the review. I've added [citation needed]. -download ׀ message 23:43, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
Glad to communicate on this. I forgot- I was going to add the cn, so I'm happy you did! That article is especially problematic as far as spammy links is concerned. tedder (talk) 23:45, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
Yeah - I was going to add an eHow reference at first but the spam filter blocked me... not sure why eHow is blocked but oh well :P -download ׀ message 23:47, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the info, I see - I guess I should probably pay more attention to the reliability of the sources I add.  :) -download ׀ message 23:53, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Do not combine refs with missing page numbers, please

Please stop combining refs where page numbers are being requested, for example in Lanford Wilson. Each ref may have a different page number. We would like the persons who added the refs to supply the various page numbers in each instance. All the best! -- Ssilvers (talk) 00:24, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

My bad; I understand now. I think AWB decided that the references all looked the same so it combined them. -download ׀ message 02:06, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
