Hi Doubledgedsword,

Thanks for your suggestions about the L&B Wiki article. It isn't MY article - i have just added to it, so feel free to add to it as you want, but please do try to follow the Wikipedia style guidelines etc!

I'm not sure there is enough difference in the locos to create a table like the example you gave, but I have added the Whyte notations, and will look at another article about the M-W locos - I have set one up today with a brief intro to Manning Wardle, which will provide another link.

I'm not sure that too much info about earlier restoration projects will be of much general interest, but if you are interested, you may find out more from the official web site. Martyn 23:48, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've had a go at tidying this one up a bit and am confident about the dates. If you're agreeable, we could remove the note about chronological inaccuracy. It would be good to get more detail in about the actual working of the line and its light railway status, but I have no references for that. Also, the use of the line for experiments is interesting, and I'd like to know more. Johnlp 20:59, 28 June 2006 (UTC) Thanks. I can be even more specific about the dates, if you want, but I think the exact dates of opening and closure are probably "over-encyclopaedic"! Johnlp 08:06, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
