Re:image

[edit]
I will list it for deletion for being UE (unencyclopedic). Speedy deletion is not feasible here since it is relevant to the topic, and has no copyright problem and no other issues, so it does not qualify for these criteria.

Thanks. Λua∫Wise (talk) 16:26, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed,it is such a shame that they stayed there for that long, and no one bothered to remove them, let alone notice them. In fact, they are not hidden or something, but were in plain sight in 2 articles, 2 notable articles, with a caption that one can not miss. Thanks for reminding me of this, I must admit that I almost forgot about them, so you are the one to be credited with their removal.
Cheers. Λua∫Wise (talk) 20:20, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Clearly an interesting field you got there, and Wikipedia may not have many people specializing in that area, that's why your role is important here. I hope you continue to contribute to Wikipedia; I have seen that you are already contributing to major articles such as the Critical theory and Philosophy. Great job! Ah, as for the image, it will deleted very soon, and I will clean the articles that contain it after deletion. You did not do anything wrong and need not to apologize for anything...one editor has pointed out above-on my talkpage- that one could be more precise and I told him that this is not necessary or required. If you need any help, you know where to find me.Cheers!  :) Λua∫Wise (talk) 13:42, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And he put it there 2 days ago... How could this image pass all wikipedians patrolling recent changes is something I can not understand. I removed the image from article rose. Funny thing was that not only he put his painted image next to Renoir's but also his image was bigger in size! A sign of utter disrespect if you ask me. Well, for the moment let's keep an eye on him, we still do not know if he is doing that for the destructive humour found in vandalism or he does not honestly know Wikipedia rules. Your contributions to Wikipedia are welcomed, and it is not complicated at all, it just seems that way, so here are a couple of links that will tell pretty much everything one needs to learn to edit WP:Wikipedia:Tutorial and Wikipedia:How_to_edit_a_page... good luck and thanks. Cheers :). Λua∫Wise (talk) 18:09, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Castoriadis

[edit]

Dear Doraannao, I'm not sure about his love life / marriage. I don't know a whole lot about C's biography. I only began to read him seriously in 2007, and am mostly interested in his ideas about AUTONOMY. On that topic, he's caught the attention of those of us interested in power and anarchism. Anyway, I'd be glad to learn more of his bio, but don't have it handy. I suggest following the links at the bottom of the Castoriadis page, where you're surely get the answers you seek. Survey

[edit]

Hi Doraannao!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! SarahStierch (talk) 04:02, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
