Commercial art

[edit]

While commercal art is a related profession; this list - List of American artists 1900 and after is primarily a list of notable fine artists..who generally create works that serve their own individual artistic direction; and who have achieved notability in their field, either through significant museum and/or gallery exhibitions or inclusions in important public and/or private collections over the course of a career and not the place to list commercial artists. List of illustrators, or List of cartoonists might work. Modernist (talk) 20:15, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've come here to say the same thing. This is not the parameter of the list. If you disagree, please discuss on the article talk page (click "discussion" at the top of the article), before reinserting. It is not helpful to the reader who wishes to find the Disney artists you are listing, because they will not look in that list to find them. An article List of Disney artists might be suitable.
