User talk:DooD

Well I dont know how to end this so bye I guess. Asparagus.

[edit](blood boils) Sign messages! I am the only who uses the "unsigned" template, and everytime you don't add 4 tildes, (~~~~) I have to add the template and fill it out. Suprisingly I have slightly better things to do. I have "Rainbow Sneakers" after my name because I wanted a link straight to my talk page, and I own a pair of rainbow sneakers I'm particularly attached to. I thought you were being insulting when you called me obsessive because obsessive isn't generally a complimentary term. Yes I do know people can be misinterpretted, if they are vague. If you sign a message, people can draw from their past experiences with you, and think about your personality. What you say as a joke, I would say as a personal attack. All the more reason to sign messages! ; ) Highway Rainbow Sneakers 20:30, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- OK so we're cool now. By the by my name is a meaningless jumble of words (gasp) that came from me pushing my fingers on a line on my keyboard, so... umm.. it shows that I,uhh, use a qwerty keyboard.Qwerasdfzxcvvcxz

- It wasnt nonsense. You deleted a (sorta) serious albeit satirical topic I made.Qwerasdfzxcvvcxz 20:23, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- It is considered vandalism regardless of your intent. Dannybu2001 20:32, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sooooooo, satire on talk pages=vandalism? I really doubt that.Qwerasdfzxcvvcxz 21:47, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Vandalism#Types_of_vandalism: Adding joke topics falls under Silly vandalism. Whether you mean it as satire, if it doesn't have to do with improving the article, then it's vandalism of the article's talk page. Dannybu2001 22:28, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Re:Kudos
[edit]Thank you very much, after all the vandalism, all you can do is make it laughable. Hopefully we won't be having to revert as often now it's been protected for a period. Happy editting, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 12:03, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Q-Name to DooD
[edit]Hello, DooD. Or should I say, Qweras...something. You wanted to change your name? I'm afraid to say that you could have gone through better channels. First of all, it is possible to change your account name, but you should have a very good reason to do so. Creating another account is really the wrong way to go. It means you have two accounts and are practicing sockpuppetry, sort of. I'd recommend redirecting your old user page to your new one, your old talk to the new one (putting the old talk in, deleting the second welcome, and putting the new talk underneath). You could user "AutoWiki Browser" to change the Q-name on talk pages to "DooD," but I don't know much about that. Anyways, you should take a cruise on over to the New contributors' help page and ask what you can do about your predicament. Just trying to help out.--the ninth bright shiner talk 22:59, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for telling me not to do what I did. I kinda knew it was wrong but I dont want to go through changing the name, btw do you think my account will go away after not being used or should I ask an admin?DooD 03:56, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- You're very welcome. Myself, I really don't know the best action to take. Like I said, you could ask about what to do at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page. An administrator might be able to help, but might not. As I can't imagine any sort of solution, asking at the New contributors' help page would probably be the best thing to do for now.--the ninth bright shiner talk 04:42, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
