VFS article

[edit]

No problem. Just keep in mind that it's an encyclopedia article and not a "listing" of any kind. In particular it's currently lacking in references for all the alumni, and I don't know of any source for this information. It really should be referenced so that it doesn't get removed from the article. — Saxifrage 22:01, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds good. If you need advice or feedback for a particular edit or pointers to helpful guidelines, I'm here to help. As for using the article's talk page, it works just like my talk page does except that it's got a bigger audience. You can get there by clicking the "discussion" tab at the top of the article. New sections can be started by clicking the + tab at the top of the page beside "edit this page", or you can edit an existing section by clicking the "[edit]" link to the right of the section title. You can also have Wikipedia automatically write out a signature for you that helps others keep track of who said what by typing four tildes (like this: ~~~~) at the end of your message. When you save, it'll be converted into a signature with a timestamp similar to mine. — Saxifrage 22:36, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:VFS.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:VFS.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:11, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
