Conservation statuses
[edit]Hi Donkey8, I saw your changes at List of mammals of Algeria and looked at the IUCN site and couldn't tell why you made those changes. I couldn't find a conservation status for Caracal caracal algira. Leptailurus serval and Hyaena hyaena look like they were right before you made the changes. What's your source for those? Thanks, SchreiberBike | ⌨ 20:17, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of species of Galápagos tortoise, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vulnerable (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

List of mammals of Great Britain
[edit]Hi, Donkey8
May I ask what you have against listing separate subspecies?
Thanks —GRM (talk) 10:55, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
List of mammals of Madagascar IUCN symbols
[edit]Hi Donkey8. Surely you realize that given that I'm largely responsible for the content of the article, if you want to change the IUCN symbols in the list, you will have to discuss the issue with me. I'm well aware of the existence of alternate symbols. WolfmanSF (talk) 17:04, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 18
[edit]An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of mammals of Ireland, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ursus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Adding IUCN status
[edit]Hello and thanks for adding IUCN status to plant species, as you did for Arbutus unedo. For that article, I expanded the reference to the now-standard format for IUCN references. It's helpful for consistency across the large number of IUCN-assessed species and to be able to see assessors, year etc. all within the reference. Thanks Declangi (talk) 00:32, 5 August 2018 (UTC)

Misplaces pic
[edit]Hi Donkey8 - why have you added File:Columba palumbus0.jpg to en:Azores wood pigeon? Did you check the location where the photo was taken??? Can you explain why you thought it was in the Azores, rather than Britain???? Please remove it from there! - MPF (talk) 01:10, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

[edit]List of animals articles
[edit]Hi, I restored some articles of list of animals by countries that you removed contents. You need to reach a consensus to avoid edit wars if you want to alter articles drastically. If you don't agree with what to be included, you should add a topic on talk pages for discussions. You can also temporary hide the sections with a code.
I would appreciate it if we can reach an agreement and constructively work together. Best regards. MinasOstiris (talk) 15:03, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
