The work you've put into this page is fantastic. You not only provide much more information to the audience, but the way you organized the page is very clean and precise. I think using the third and fifth paragraphs of the "Origins and History" section to create a separate section titled something along the lines of "Recipe" or "Preparation" would suit the the article well. It also might help to link out to other Wikipedia pages for specific words like ginseng, Hedysarum root, abalone, ect so readers can quickly navigate while looking at the page. Also, though you seem very knowledgeable about this topic, I would suggest providing citations to ensure the information is reliable throughout the article.
