Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are certain this information is correct, please add a reliable reference to verify the information. Thank you. TJ Spyke 21:07, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In a recent edit, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, just ask anyone on Wikipedia and they will help you. Thank you. ●BillPP (talk|contribs) 15:50, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Tower WP discussion

[edit]

Greetings Dark Tower WikiProject member, I would like to invite you to palaver about a possible expansion of the Dark Tower Project to include all Stephen King related items. I feel that the large amount of projects related to the author warrants his own Project—but as this one already exists—hesitate to begin a new one. Please feel free to leave comments of any kind and be assured that The Dark Tower will be held in the highest regard within the new King Project. Long days and pleasant nights. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon Hello, I'm Cassiopeia. I noticed that you recently removed content from UFC 266 without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Cassiopeia talk 09:17, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Donco, you have seen removed the bout again, could you pls provide source indicate the bout is not happening pls. Cassiopeia talk 20:38, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

October 2021

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Manon Fiorot, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Cassiopeia talk 01:29, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Donco, As you been a long time editor and I believe you know info needs to to be supported source. The Wikipedia WP:MMA indicates to use Sherdog as the fight record. Also, Wikipedia is not about not about the true but all about what can be verified. If you can find an independent, reliable source in any langugues that indicates the bout was a 5 round, then you are welcome to add the info in and put the source (in line citation) next to the round number. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 01:33, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Donco, utube, official website, social media and etc are not independent reliable source. Pls seek another independent reliable soruce. Cassiopeia talk 02:45, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Donco, here-1 and here-2 can be used for the source. Pls pls the source (inline citation) "next to the round # (5)". Thank you. Cassiopeia talk 02:51, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you're so concerned about it, you can change it. I posted a PRIMARY source, I don't understand your stupid rules.
Donco, First of all it is not my rules but Wikipedia's. Secondly, it needs to secondary source which is also Wikipedia rules. Thirdly, I go out of my way to find source for you so you can make the changes is better than me change yours edit as you would self correct instead other do the work for you and place another warning in your talk page. Lastly, I am a regular mma editor and Wikipedia counter vandaslim trainer for such I do care about the integrity of Wikipedia pages/articles as per Wikipedia guidelines. Cassiopeia talk 02:57, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Manon Fiorot, you may be blocked from editing. Cassiopeia talk 03:02, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Donco, as mentioned, utube is not a reliable source and source needs to be secondary. Cassiopeia talk 03:03, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Youtube isn't a reliable source, but Sherdog, which has demonstrably incorrect information, is? Sounds like a bunch of nonsense.
Sherdog is an independent reliable source and Your tube according to Wikipedia is not. I dont make the rules but Wikipedia and as per Wikipedia MMA gaudiness, Sehrdog is the source for the fight record.03:13, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
There's no use going back and forth with a petty bureaucrat.
It is not about petty bureaucracy, but just response to your message to you thought it was my rules and to inform you about what Wikipedia guidelines are all about. It is part of the counter vandalism work to educate and to deter editor making the same mistakes. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 03:29, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

April 2022

[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Mackenzie Dern, you may be blocked from editing. Cassiopeia talk 00:00, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't have to keep editing pages if you actually knew what you were doing. You base all of your info on Sherdog and never any primary sources. You are completely incompetent and yet you wield all this power. I'm not vandalizing any pages; in fact, you are the one vandalizing by repeatedly posting false information. Donco (talk) 00:41, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Pls read the messages and warnings on Oct 2021. Cassiopeia talk 01:08, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Donco, Good day. Pls do not "just" remove a bout when it is moved or cancelled but do provide the info in the background section in the both events with source provided - see at UFC on ESPN: dos Anjos vs. Fiziev and at UFC Fight Night 211. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 00:11, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

August 2022

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Amanda Nunes. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Cassiopeia talk 08:47, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It is ridiculous that you have absolute power over every single MMA-related page when you do not understand the rules. I wish I could report you for abusing your power and completely failing to do your job. Donco (talk) 18:41, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
