Continuation War

[edit]

Related to your recent edit in the Continuation War article, I'd like to point out that your sources seems to be inaccurate. During the war, Finns gave 2600-2700 (depending on the source) Soviet POWs to Germans. From about 400 Jewish POWs, only 49 were given to Germans. Over 2000 of prisoner transfers were voluntary, people wishing to join Russian Liberation Army or those wishing to train or operate behind the Soviet lines. Around 500 were transferred for "security reasons", because they were political officers or otherwise active politically. The fate of Soviet POWs were already in the article, in the different place. There is a good recent research about the subject in http://www.narc.fi/Arkistolaitos/a/tiedostot/PDF/POW%20deaths_web.pdf Unfortunately I haven't had yet time to fully read it through yet. --Whiskey (talk) 08:52, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your note

[edit]

Thank you for informing me. Do you have any evidence of sockpuppetry? While it is clear the account was opened June 2nd and the editor appeared familiar with editing and seems to support a group of other editors, you need evidence to start a sockpuppet investigation. Your edit on Comparison of integrated development environments

[edit]

I have seen that you removed my VB.NET from Comparison of integrated development environments. You removed it here. May i ask why?--Moonwolf14 (talk) 16:59, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I did not remove it but renamed and added some more examples.--Dojarca (talk) 23:43, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicted licensing on image File:Andosshell1.png

[edit]

The above noted image or media file appears to have conflicted licensing. As an image cannot be both 'free' and 'unfree', a check of the exact status of this media/image concerned is advised.Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:31, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Mass killings under Communist regimes. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mass killings under Communist regimes (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:13, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:ANDOS-DM-bw.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:ANDOS-DM-bw.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 18:04, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewer granted

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:21, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
