Some sources

[edit]

I've stared a list of possible sources for writing this article. Roger (talk) 07:32, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome list of links. The source you gave on the article page for the "lede" was a handy overview of the history of the topic too. Once I start thinking about it, there are tons of examples, at least in English literature. It will be fascinating to dip into the other world literatures to see what they have in their cultures. I expect to get some writing done this weekend.OttawaAC (talk) 22:44, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Note: Some of these sources are academic journals and books, if you have access to a university library please add your username here -

Pre-Columbian Americas?

[edit]

I'm not having much success with Google searching for material on disability in pre-Columbian (Aztec, Inca, Maya, etc) folklore or mythology. I suspect there might be sources in Spanish so someone who knows the language, please do a search. Roger (talk) 08:50, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
