A tag has been placed on The Pines (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. OK. I am learning.

I understand that the page for The Pines was incomplete, but from reading the rules about bands, I think they are a legitimate posting for Wikipedia. They have 2 CDs on Red House Records, which is on Wikipedia and most alternative/folk fans would consider a major label. Do you agree? If so, I'll work on filling in the content on my personal site before uploading to the live site. Again, I am learning.

That might meet WP:BAND. Why don't you create a draft of the article at User:DoctorJava/The Pines (band) to get it started. If you want, you ask me or another editor for a second opinion before it goes to main article space. Singularity42 (talk) 02:40, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
