User talk:Docolusanya
March 2015
[edit]Hello, I'm PhantomTech. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Goodluck Jonathan, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. PhantomTech (talk) 18:32, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
Moving articles to user talk namespace
[edit]Please do not move articles to the user talk namespace again, as you have done to List of demonyms for states in Nigeria. Your move of that article has now been reverted. GeoffreyT2000 (talk, contribs) 02:28, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
Cleveland Indians
[edit]I am sorry that I do not understand your question on my talk page. It is straightforward in asking me whether I have the authority to revert blocks but you have not been blocked and I certainly hope that you will not be editing in a way that would get you blocked in the future. Also, I did not revert your edit with respect to Cleveland Indians so I assume you are not asking about reverting edits (or reverting or rolling back a reversion). I do have reviewer and rollbacker privileges. Donner60 (talk) 01:42, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm AJFU. I noticed that you made a change to an article, United States presidential election, 2020, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AJFU 23:28, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at United States presidential election, 2020. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. clpo13(talk) 00:14, 17 November 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I noticed that you attempted to file a deletion discussion on the article Mordad but did not complete the process. Please note that, when listing an article for deletion, a discussion page needs to be made for other users to discuss whether to keep or delete the article. This is typically done by following the steps listed here. Note that if you are editing as an unregistered user, you cannot create a discussion page. Please consider registering an account or asking another user to help you complete the process at Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion. Thank you. clpo13(talk) 23:24, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
Reference errors on 17 December
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Corruption in Canada page, your edit caused a cite error (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:23, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
Canadian federal elections
[edit]You have reverted two times as of now. Both interim leaders remain. Please stop removing them. If you revert once more, you are at WP:3RR. Take your concerns on the talk page and stop reverting. It's disruptive. Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} ♑ 16:44, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
Dave Khan photo
[edit]Hi Docolusanya, just wondering if you received permission from Khan or the party to upload File:Dave Khan.jpg? Non-free images of living persons are considered violations of WP:NFC#UUI. Thanks, Madg2011 (talk) 19:10, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
Hi Magd2011! Thank you for your concern, but I have personally received permission from Khan. Docolusanya (talk) 19:48, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, that's great. Would you be able to get him to complete a Declaration of Consent and send it to OTRS? This way we can verify that permission has been given from the source; and he can better understand what he's releasing the photo for (eg. many people don't realize that hosting a photo on Wikimedia requires consent for commercial reuse). [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to 2017 Unite the Right rally, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:33, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
Hi Muboshgu. As I have stated, that was a mistake, and I apologize, but I had reverted the edit before you had sent this message.
