An Automated Message from HagermanBot[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! November 2007[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Spyda-Man, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 18:07, 5 November 2007 (UTC) Your edits to User:Ioeth[edit]Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. -- Merope 18:13, 5 November 2007 (UTC) Navigation Toolbar[edit]I would like my own navigation bar, like this one but my own, customised. If you cannot give me fish, please teach me how to fish.
Your comment in this discussion is dishonest, since User:Ioeth did not warn you for correctly tagging an untagged article for deletion; you were warned for using an inflammatory, insulting, and uninformative tag on an article which was already appropriately tagged. After he warned you politely, you vandalized his userpage. I will be checking in from time to time to review your contributions; if I see further signs of inappropriate editing, I will block you from further disruption of the encyclopedia. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:24, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Deletion process[edit]Reviewing your edits, I see that you're interested in improving video game articles, and I agree with you that these subjects seems to spawn articles that need to be deleted. You don't seem to be fully conversant with the deletion process, though, and knowing it more thoroughly will help you tag articles more appropriately. There are three levels to the deletion process; speedy deletion, while useful, is not always the most appropriate response to an inapropriate article. These are the criteria for speedy deletion. As you can see, they're very specific, and each one has a tag you can use to tag articles that should be deleted. They're for articles that very obviously need deletion, like spam, vandalism, and unimportant people. Those are the only times we use speedy deletion tags. If an article isn't a candidate for speedy deletion, but clearly violates one of the principles at Wikipedia is not, then it can be tagged using a {prod} tag. That's for things like hoaxes, articles that claim the person or business is important but the sources don't seem to support that, opinion essays, and so forth. If an article doesn't clearly meet the criteria for speedy deletion, and doesn't clearly meet the list of things Wikipedia is not, like Crash Bandicoot List of Levels, then we discuss it before deleting it. You can find instructions on how to start a deletion discussion at WP:AFD. I removed your speedy deletion tag from Crash Bandicoot List of Levels, because it should go to Articles for Deletion. If you have any trouble nominating it, please feel free to ask me for help, either here or on my talk page. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:41, 10 November 2007 (UTC) Close- you recognized that it had a source and so wasn't a clear candidate for speedy deletion, but you're right that it should be deleted. I added a {prod} tag to it. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:51, 11 November 2007 (UTC) Vandalism[edit]Nice work on the vandalism reverts. You can also warn the vandals by using warning templates, and if the vandal has been vandalizing too much, you can request that they be blocked at the vandalism noticeboard. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:54, 11 November 2007 (UTC) I have no idea why you created this page, but it was not a good idea. I've deleted it. Fram 14:18, 14 November 2007 (UTC) Your recent edits[edit]
AIV report[edit]Remember to use {{userlinks}} or {{IPvandal}} on AIV, rather than just linking to the vandal's contributions. Talk pages are not forums for general discussion, they are to be used to discuss additions to the main article itself. Vampire Warrior 18:22, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
edits to VG character pages[edit]I noticed that you have been deleting in-universe and trivia tags. Please do not do this, this type of content is discouraged and the tags are good reminders to work on the content. Thanks! Jmjanssen (talk) 05:09, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
