Welcome!
[edit]Hey there Dkspencer03, welcome to the tropical cyclone WikiProject! I'm guessing you saw my last message, so cheers to joining. I wondered if you had any questions about editing, or if you're getting the hang of things. Cheers. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 17:30, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, and thank you! Yes, I did see the message. I don't really have any questions, though if anything comes up I'll be sure to let you or someone else know. Dkspencer03 (talk) 18:29, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- Sweet. I'm curious, are you more interested in new or older storms? We have tons of articles that'll need work, not to overwhelm you since you just joined :P ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:31, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- I'm willing to edit and update both but I'm mainly interested in new storms. Dkspencer03 (talk) 18:36, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- That's awesome. Sometimes the newer storms are the ones that end up getting ignored, like if they were overshadowed by another storm. Hurricane Francine is a good example of that. It's a recent storm article, but it's on the short side. There are also tons of lists that are in need of updating. For example, there is List of Florida hurricanes and List of North Carolina hurricanes, which I see you've edited, plus List of Georgia hurricanes, all of which had to be updated for Helene. But you might be wondering about List of South Carolina hurricanes - that is an example of something that's needed, and in fact, we even have an article request page, in case you want to request something that you think should have an article. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:49, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
