how i ended up here but i've been having a great time looking over you work page. most of my contributions to iww articles have been pictures - one of Utah Phillips still survives i think. your work is an inspiration, perhaps to get me in gear. excuse my one handed typing - it's what i've got for awhile. einar aka Carptrash (talk) 14:00, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

which might (or might not) be of interest to you. Carptrash (talk) 16:14, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, damn, I did not know that you commented on this page a year ago, it only showed up on my watchlist as of the comment you just made. Yes, that is pretty interesting, and I had no idea you were involved in that. :)
I've lately been developing an interest in digging into labor archives, although mostly for really old stuff. It's not something that I've gotten around to yet. But I'm also not very good at creating or contributing significant information to encyclopedia articles, mostly do housekeeping. The lists I made here are mostly from Google searches, existing lists, and name-drops in various works...the "checking to-do" is rather speculative. I have however uploaded and transcribed a few old works onto Wikisource, including historical IWW works, which I hope to expand considerably. I do wish there were some centralized electronic collection of the type of grey literature as in the archive you linked that could be easily referenced though, could happen sooner or later.
You might be interested in reading about the Sister's Camelot strike that happened recently, if you hadn't heard of it, which seems in some ways reminiscent of People's Wherehouse. djr13 (talk) 18:56, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
