Hi, please ignore this latest message, I have reverted the user's decline of the article as it was done improperly and without a proper explanation. The article is still awaiting review. Someone should get to it (shortly I hope) to review it again, and provide some feedback for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me on my talk page. This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Dittrich&Schlechtriem, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Drmies (talk) 23:14, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock-un| laart }} Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Daniel Case (talk) 18:22, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I understand and I do not want to violate any of these key-features. I am just one person affiliated with the gallery. However, I was not promoting something untrue or unnotable. This is an article about an artist, who was very important in the 90s and 2000s, whose peers are the likes of Ugo Rondinone or Urs Fischer - major artists. Thus I wanted to create and article based on facts and literature that was cited for the artist becoming part of wikipedia as he should be noted in an english language encyclopedia.

Still I would have one question. If I am affiliated with the gallery I am not allowed to write or contribute to such an article? Because, I am not writing about something completely erroneous..., but something, what is a notable contribution... I understand the 3 principles above and will not violate these terms of wikipedia. Please allow me to take another username. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dittrich%26Schlechtriem (talkcontribs)

Besides the fact that even the founder of Wikipedia has stated that those with WP:COI should only ever edit the talkpage, and not the article itself, there's a quick note on the username you have chosen: there already is an editor named User:Laart (✉→BWilkins←✎) 10:22, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I was new to wiki, so now I know how it works with the talk page and so on. I would kindly ask you to allow me to use another username.

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.
