Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Shane Told, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Silverstein singles

[edit]

Just a quick comment in regards to your edits to Silverstein discography here. I have been an editor here on Wikipedia for 7+ years now and I have seen many, many people create an account and start labeling all kinds of songs as singles. Here's what always happens: if an editor comes to Wikipedia with a definition of a single other than our own ("In music, a single or record single is a type of release, typically a song recording of fewer tracks than an LP record or an album. This can be released for sale to the public in a variety of different formats.") then (A) his edits are deemed a fringe theory, (B) his edits are typically considered disruptive and (C) these editors are typically blocked/banned from Wikipedia. Unless you want to be blocked or banned from editing Wikipedia, please listen to me when I say that many of the songs that you have personally labeled as singles in this edit are not actually singles by our own definition of what a single is. Please refrain from labeling songs as singles without direct evidence that a song was actually released in such a format. Thank you. Fezmar9 (talk) 00:54, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
