- First, in order to allow the content to be used in Wikipedia, you have to licence it under the terms of the CC-BY-SA, which means that anyone can copy it and use it from that point on. Secondly, the original content that was copied from MySpace was promotional in tone, and is not appropriate for an encyclopedia. It would be easier to write it in your own words, and include evidence of notability per Wikipedia's standards. You might want to create a draft in your user space, at User:Fletcherfamily/Ira Levi, and work on it there. ... discospinster talk 21:09, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
an aside
I saw you at Mayan Revival architecture and drifted over to see who you were and here is what developed. I have a radio show on KLDK and am wanting (have been requested) to do a disco show but am woefully unprepared. Do you know of a good CD box set that could supply me with a balanced mix of the genre? Thanks, Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 02:16, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
- Well although I like disco music, I can't say that I'm an expert by any means. I guess it all depends on whether you want the disco "classics", or the less well-known songs. For the former, there are lots of box sets out there by the usual compilation companies, such as Rhino (although not all the songs in that set are strictly disco). For the latter, here's a list of "obscure" disco music on Amazon. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck, ... discospinster talk 02:38, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

The Soviet Top Secret behind Gagarin's crash which resulted in his death
Hey Discospinster DO NOT CORRECT ANY OF MY writeups, I know you don't.
You will NEVER have access to Soviet Top Secret Archives, especially those which are the highest security secrets about Russian deaths of their Heroes, especially those which could embarrass them! Only those who really know the truth are the undisputed references, published or not. I am the reference, so please correct the reversal of the article. The Five Stars General
This is the disclosure about my insert: The Soviet Top Secret behind Gagarin's crash which resulted in his death: is and will be for next century classified disregarding what soviet agentural propaganda will "declassify" as the heroes must remain the heroes after their death! It is not true that the real reason of crash was another plane or the accident was avoidance of a weather balloon in the airspace. Russians would never intentionally allow for such major event as the soviet air flights were well controlled and all planed way a head of time. Let's not be naive, nothing was done without coordination and planning, except urgent flights which pertained to breach of soviet air space. Than the National Defense in case of air boundary interference (i.e. Francis Garry Powers U-2 flight), where all Russian forces were on an top alert. The cause of the crash that killed Gagarin is classified as the Soviet Top Secret, that is why it became the subject to speculations over the ensuing decades. The Soviet PROPAGANDA created the touring schedule both for both Yuri Gagarin and Valentina Tereshkova which placed him in social situations where he was always expected to drink, and he became accustomed to very heavy drinking. After the flight, Gagarin became a worldwide celebrity, touring widely abroad first the communist block countries Poland, Czech Republic, East Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary. As a hero of Soviet Union he was dined and wined with the top world politicians and military chiefs of staff. The best alcohols and the vodka were pouring like a mountain river downhill. Only than after touring the soviet Warsaw Pact block, the Soviet PROPAGANDA demanded that he visit Italy, West Germany, Canada, Brazil, Japan, Egypt and Finland to promote the Soviet Union's accomplishment in the race with the United States of America, while Soviets succeeded putting the first human in space. He visited the United Kingdom three months after the Vostok 1 mission, going to London and Manchester. In the October of 1963 I have meet with both Yuri Gagarin and Valentina Tereshkova the first woman in the space. The sudden rise to fame took its toll on Gagarin as he developed the severe mental problems from his success. Traveling around the world Gagarin have discovered that the life in Russia is different that the one in the "decadent West", that caused him to heavily drink, he was frequently drunk like a typical stereotype "Russian" we all know." He wanted to leave Russia for the WEST, while he was prohibited to so. He have had a hard time to deal with the soviet reality, soviet people real lives and his rise to fame just by being the first man orbiting the Earth. That sudden success and new HERO status caused that he needed the alcohol to let him deal with it. Now all should know the boredom consequent with his fame and "party all the time" Juri Gagarin became a very heavy drinker, alcohol became his way of life. In the past as described he attempted to escape by leaving through a window and jumping off her second floor balcony, hitting his face on a kerbstone and leaving a permanent scar above his left eyebrow. You will never find any where the real cause of Yuri Gagarin and his flight instructor Vladimir Seryogin crash, except in top secret classified soviet documents kept in Soviet secret archives. Keep in mind that a soviet Hero of the Soviet Union, can never die in disgrace, so the Soviets made the story that he died in as alleged training flight. While drunk Yuri Gagarin and Vladimir Seryogin entered the Chkalovsky Air Base airfield and overcomes the security guard(s). Than while drunk they took off in a MIG-15, both took the jet for an unauthorized flight, than both crashed while drunk. That is the real story from the deadly crash of Soviet hero Yuri Gagarin and Vladimir Seryogin, and do not ask me where from I know it and where are the references. I am the reference. But that flight on 27 March 1968, was not as stated a routine training, it was an unauthorized late night flight while drunk, in which both stole MiG-15UTI from the Chkalovsky Air Base air field, and he and flight instructor Vladimir Seryogin died shortly in a MiG-15UTI crash near the town of Kirzhach. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.150.159.10 (talk) 04:39, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

Wiki-PR edit warring
I do not know your "position" on Wiki-PR, so this is not a canvassing attempt. I would just like more eyes on the edit dispute taking place here and specifically here. I get the feeling that (as usual) Smallbones and Coretheapple are tag-teaming to keep a particular "revenge" POV in Wikipedia about paid editing, to the detriment of a wider NPOV perspective. Do your own analysis of the situation, and please weigh in on whatever side your conscience dictates. - I'm not that crazy (talk) 14:01, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- The Wiki-PR saga goes back a ways, and I'm not that familiar with the particulars. In terms of International Business Times and Examiner.com, they are generally not considered reliable sources, but again, I haven't really been following the issue. Hi I'm sorry that happened. My friend thought it would be funny and got on my computer and did it. I can assure that it won't happen again. Thank you for the correction. Now I can continue with my homework! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.229.84.60 (talk) 04:24, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Hamilton categories
Just for future reference, the rule for city-specific topic subcategories is that they have to be located at the same level of disambiguation as the city's main eponymous category, regardless of whether parallel categories exist for other places of the same name or not. The uniqueness or non-uniqueness of a category's name in isolation is not the only relevant criterion when it comes to city-level categorization; we also have to give weight to consistency and predictability across the entire tree of categories related to that city.
That is, once it's been established that Hamilton, Ontario's eponymous category has to be at Category:Hamilton, Ontario, because the numerous other Hamiltons in the world prevent it from being considered primary meaning for the plain Category:Hamilton, then any subcategory also has to be disambiguated at the "Hamilton, Ontario" level. Even if none of the other Hamiltons actually has its own dedicated subcategory for that particular topic yet, if the city's main eponymous category has to be at "Hamilton, Ontario" then all of its dedicated subcategories have to be at "Hamilton, Ontario" too whether any other Hamilton has a parallel category or not. Zomi/Zo
I've been trying to discuss this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Burma (Myanmar)#Zou, Zo, Zomi Kuki with an editor with a major COI. So far I've had no response to the actual issues I've raised although one other editor responded earlier agreeing there's a mess. I can understand if you have no interest, but any comments would be useful. Dougweller (talk) 12:42, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
