Lynnwood High School
Please revisit the changes just made to the Lynnwood High School entry. Earlier, they were reverted away from non-verifiable material and away from defaming comments about one of the school employees. My edits are factually based. i hope you keep them. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.197.148.37 (talk • contribs) 23:35, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for explaining me the reason for you want to delete this article. I'm aware about the neutral point of view, so I'll try to correct it as soon as possible, but please don't propuse its deletion, just because this mistake. Let me re-write it and you'll check it out and tell me if I'm better or what else needs a change. Thanks again, and please be comprehensive with the situation. Blessings and peace-Fernando
Sorry
Hiya,
Sorry for making my user like yours. I had just got banned for a username that they said was "inapropreate" (it was "log me in"). And so when I was told I had to change my name I went for digitallyme but it was already taken, so I added the 5!
Thanks, I'm sure I wont get mistaken for you though. :-) -Digitallyme5

Thank you! Be my guest to add some more ;) I completely forgot about it... I haven't been alive lately to take care of it. Thanks again, Renata 18:41, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Digitalme: Thank you for tidying up my page. I'd made a right mess of it! Cheers Blaise Joshua 09:29, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for reverting Gibraltarian's vandalism to my userpage. In the future, feel free to block him immediately (any IP in the 212.120 range vandalizing my userpage or anything related to Gibraltar). He doesn't seem to be tiring of these games, and with a dynamic IP, it's tough to stop him. Just be sure to make the blocks short. Thanks again! --Spangineer[es] (háblame) 18:04, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- Well, keep up the good work for a month or two and that'll probably change =). --Spangineer[es] (háblame) 18:26, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
ISG
The ISG's purpose is to calculate statistics that the software does not bother with. I am the only contributor because I started the group recently and I was still recruiting volunteers and a oversight body. There are two proposals on the talk page of Wikipedia:ISG/SC. One involves calculating the Mediation success rate, which would show the effectiveness of mediation.Geo. 21:38, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

Image
Hello, I am only here to kindly tell you that I will not remove the image from my signature. There are several reasons:
- the guideline mentions server resources, however the image I am using is exactly 353 bytes long. Compared to one unnecessary access to a large wikipedia page (say 50 kbytes = 51200 bytes / 353 = 145 times), i.e. I would have to be signed 145 times for the server resources drain to equal one view of an article, not talking about editing etc.
- if new image is uploaded in the place of the flag, somebody will revert -> no problem and the DOS attacks really have nothing to do with myh signature
- a 20px flag doesn't reduce searchability
- there is absolutely no difficulty in copying text from a webpage with my signature, that's a nonsense argument
- this is not distracting, it's 20px and it doesn't blink
6. + 7. + 8. (in the guideline) -bummer
and the most important argument of all of them:
I DON'T NECESSARILY ADHERE TO THE POLICIES AND GUIDELINES OF WIKIPEDIA
Bear that in mind. See my userpage to find out about the reasons. Anyway, thank you for your kind advice.

RfA thanks
Thank you very much for the support on my recent RfA, which I'm quite happy to announce has passed with a consensus of 67 supporting, 0 opposed and 0 neutral. I'm glad you took the time to consider my candidacy, and I'll be working hard to justify the vote of confidence you've placed in me. Let me know at my talk page if I can help you with any admin-related tasks, or simply if you have any comments on my performance as an admin. Thanks! TheProject 22:22, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

My RFA
WoW template
Does one have to be an admin to place this on a user page, and have it "stick", so to speak? I tried putting the tag on the user page of the IP doing the page moves that follow the WoW M.O., and was kind of surprised when the vandal continued with impunity. Thanks for clearing up my confusion! -Fsotrain09 17:45, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi there:
I just wanted to thank you for your support of my RfA (which was, sadly, unsuccessful).

William E. Cousins is notable after all
You tagged William E. Cousins as {{db-bio}}. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=William_E._Cousins&oldid=62654381 I removed the tag because Cousins was an archbishop. TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 03:29, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- All of the articles user Indianchief has created are of notable people (they are all Archbishops) but the content appears to be copyvio from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee's website. 72.131.44.247 17:45, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Excuse me,
which content are you talking about? --KOCOBO 03:06, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
No disrespect, but do you even know what User:Ferick added? OK, I did delete Albania, and I moved it back, but he added Kosovo next to Serbia, as two separate countries, which is not true, read the Kosovo article (where it says province of Serbia) and even the CIA article on Serbia. Maybe you should warn Ferick, because if you look at his contributions, all he does is remove the word "Serbia" from Kosovo-related articles and adds Kosovo as a separate country in articles like this one. Your help would be greatly appreciated, because it would save me time that I spend on reverting Fericks acts of vandalism. --KOCOBO 03:14, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Do you still think I was wrong? --KOCOBO 03:14, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Could you answer my request? --KOCOBO 03:19, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Sorry I was a little impatient :) Oh, I and other users have warned Ferick a bunch of times, but still an admin has taken no action. He got this message a while ago:
- Could you please read up (if you haven't already) WP:POV and WP:NPOV? --HolyRomanEmperor 16:03, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
to which he answered:
- No,thank you very much!Ferick 18:28, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
(entire conversation here)
The problem is that he doesn't take anyone who is against his opinion seriously, he just dismisses them, as you can see. I ask you again to help me, your help would be greatly appreciated, because you are an experienced Wikipedian, and he might take you seriously. In his contributions, it is clear what his goal is - to remove all words containing "Serbia", from Kosovo-related articles. Please, please, help us stop that :) --KOCOBO 03:40, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Its not about neutrality, he is vandalizing articles, it's not my POV, its a fact, look at his contributions. I did not come to Wikipedia to fight vandals, but this guy is getting on my nerves. Isn't removing the word "Serbia" and templates containing the word "Serbia" in Kosovo-related articles considered vandalism? Is it POV or is it a fact? He is a vandal, don't take my word for it, look at the contributions, please, it'll take you 2 min to realize that yourself. If you do not want to assist me, please reccomend to me a user that could help me, but over the e-mail. Once again, I do not want to fight Ferick, but merely find some admin who will grant attention to the situation which is getting critical. He needs to be banned, because he does no useful work here and is disrupting those who ARE trying to help Wikipedia (and remember, we don't get paid, if users like Ferick aren't stopped, there will be a decline in neutral users, and that is not the moto of an encyclopedia). Once again, look at his contribs, and see for yourself, its NOT about POV. --KOCOBO 04:30, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Wow, you definately don't get it do you... OK, no help from you then. But I just can't believe you don't see what Ferick is doing here. Look at the example of Svetislav Jovanovic, a new user I noticed on the Kosovo talk page, who asked a simple question, and Ferick just dismissed him very rudely. But OK, you fail to see why he wants to erase the word Serbia from Kosovo articles. Let me tell you why, he's albanian. See Serbian-Albanian conflict for more info, man, but I'm surprised you're taking his side by only warning me, and yet you claim to be neutral. Thats not cool man. Not cool. --KOCOBO 04:51, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
I have taken the speedy tag off of Burgeoning Online Classified Listings because it was not patent nonsense. If you believe the article should be deleted, it should be taken to WP:AFD. JDoorjam Talk 03:58, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Honestly
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Ripper (episode) article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
The message above is the message you send me. Honestly, since the Ripper (episode) article is under "POSSIBLE COPYRIGHT VIOLATION", I would like also that the other articles that I've edited in "the outer limit" section and that has no copyright, to be under the same heading. I know that I may be blocked from further editing but I will bear the consequences...

Oyster Bay
How do you propose to distinguish in the title between Oyster Bay, New York and Oyster Bay, Nassau County, New York? --JimWae 04:30, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- You've made a mess - many double redirects. You cite the MoS - but have not said where. When you saw I was working, it would have been less disruptive to leave a note on my talk page before reverting me as I was working --JimWae 04:40, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Mambo CMS
Thank you for reverting the edits done on the Mambo_(CMS) page, however it looks like it's happening again and this time under the claim that only Foundation affiliated information should be there, suggesting POV and promotional links on part of those deleting information, seen here: Talk:Mambo_(CMS). Any ideas what we do about it?
